About 1451Music

Adam Klein is a Freelance Audio Engineer and Music Producer, currently based in the

Kansas City area.   Adam is a graduate of the Florida State University College of Music, studying in the Commercial Music Program.  As a classically trained French Horn player, Adam has been playing music for upwards of 18 years and has been a member of many different ensembles at FSU including

The World Renowned Marching Chiefs.  

Adam was previously an assistant engineer 

at Gasoline Alley Studios in Tallahassee, Fl., 

working with local bands & singer/songwriters.

He also worked for the FSU College of Music as a recording engineer for student, faculty and guest recitals or concerts, in Opperman Music Hall and the 3 recital halls. 


Other work at the University included Front-of-House sound mixing for University ensembles  and touring bands performing in Opperman Music Hall.  In Ruby Diamond Concert Hall, he served as an assistant engineer and stage hand.  

 

With a mobile recording setup, he is able to travel regionally to record and produce any project.  Most recently, Adam teamed up with Brandon Robertson (FSU Alumni, FGCU Director of Jazz Studies) to record and co-produce his first original album

"Bass'd On A True Story" 

In the past, Adam teamed up with composer Brandi Thomas to record and produce the soundtrack for "Taxii", an Independent Short Film, based in Mumbai, India
